Bishop’s Stortford Drama Students showcase their work at Rhodes
Wednesday 19th December saw our Bishop’s Stortford drama students on stage at the Rhodes to showcase their work from the second half of the year.
Kicking off were the Fledglings class, our youngest students aged between 4 and 7 whose play was about some very helpful children who try and free Santa from being stuck up the chimney! A very important job indeed! Everyone did an amazing job and coped very well with the big stage and scary audience! We were proud of each and every one of our Fledgling students.
Our Primary students entertained their audience with a Christmas channel sketch show, which featured lots of sketches, news, and tv shows, all leading up to Christmas Day. It was a funny and lively piece, with the pantomime set as a backdrop adding colour and vibrancy to a very entertaining hour of theatre.
Our Intermediate Drama Students were on stage performing Wednesday Night Live: Sketches, Songs and Festive Fun, to get the audience in to the Christmas spirit and judging by the applause from the audience it really worked!
Huge thanks go to tutors Faye and Connor Linden, who wrote, directed and presented these showcases, assisted by Drama Assistants, Georgia Collins and George Jack. Thanks for your hard work team, you’re amazing.
